Overview The Mechanical Technician is responsible for the support and success of the Manufacturing Processes from an engineering/quality prospective.
They will be expected to act as the Technical Expert and point of contact for all shop leads and technical resources.
They will assist in maintaining and improving the accuracy of technical documentation and suggest drawing changes in the appropriate systems.
The Mechanical Technician must be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Schedule Monday - Friday 6:

30 pm Responsibilities Support the needs of the production floor and shift leadership by providing input and technical assistance to the team members in manufacturing, maintenance and quality areas.
Drive process improvement activities to achieve dramatic improvement in the critical business metrics of safety, quality, delivery and cost Lead Improvement Teams as assigned (Teams consist of all or some of the following:
Supervision/Production Lead manufacturing engineering, quality engineering, manufacturing operations.
).
Engineering Technician cultivates a team environment of respect and trust among team members.
Provides leadership to project team members.
Apply engineering principals and technical skills to assist engineering in developing and improving and testing of new and existing processes and equipment.
Assist in writing and teaching process procedures to ensure corrective and preventative actions are taking place.
Evaluate processes and equipment, including robotics, to modify and continuously improve.
Qualifications Associates in Engineering Discipline or Actively enrolled in Pursuit of a technical degree desired or equivalent technical experience.
Hold certificates of completion for Lean Manufacturing training.
Strong verbal and written communication skills that demonstrate the ability to express complex technical concepts clearly and concisely.
Must be analytical and self-motivated.
Must be able to effectively lead Improvement Teams.
